SNCM - Singapore National Certificate in Mountaineering
Overview
This is a comprehensive program to
introduce participants who are resident in Singapore to mountaineering.
Successful completion of this course leads to the Singapore National Certificate
in Mountaineering.
The programme enables participants to
participate in a structured and comprehensive program to acquire all the
necessary skills to become a competent mountaineer. This programme is pegged at an introductory
level and no prior experience in mountaineering is required. However, participants are expected to already
possess relevant outdoor camping and hiking experience. Suitable preparatory training can be arranged
where needed.
Course Duration
Classroom lessons: 15 hrs
Outdoor Practical Sessions 10 hrs
